Data Cleansing

On average, a deceased person will contunie to receive 110 items of direct mail during the first twelve months following their deatch. In the UK this amounts to a massive 64 million pieces of unnecessary direct mail annualy.

What is data cleansing?

Data cleansing is a common term describing the accuracy of your customer or prospects’ name and address details. All too often mailed information is addressed to either the wrong person, duplicated or sent to the wrong address.

Your organisation may use multiple sources of customer`s data which can quickly become replicated or distorted. Identifying unique customers not only cuts out duplicated communications but allows their true worth to be revealed – several low ‘worth’ customers quickly become one valuable customer who buys multiple products from you!
